Society Advancing Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), ISU Chapter
About
Welcome to the Society Advancing Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) ISU Chapter! SACNAS is a national organization that strives to increase the diversity of scientists in professional fields, in obtaining advanced degrees and careers, and serving in positions of leadership.
We will use SACNAS ISU to 1) Expand access to research and professional development opportunities for our members, 2) Increase awareness of and commitment to STEM diversity at the university level, and 3) Build a community of diverse professionals and advocates across scientific fields. While SACNAS targets Chicanos and Native Americans, this is by no means an exclusive group. We would like to welcome any and all students to participate and help to build an inclusive experience for our students here at ISU!
