Women's Lacrosse at Illinois State University
About
The Illinois State Women's Lacrosse team was founded in the spring of 2014. In 2016, we officially become a part of the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Organization, more specifically the Division 2 Womens Collegiate Lacrosse League. In this conference, we compete against Loyola U. Chicago, Oakland University, Western Michigan, Wheaton, University of Dayton, and many more. Spring is our competitive season where we play with the goal of going to playoffs, and in the fall we tend to play more local games for fun and practice. We usually practice Tuesday and Thursday nights with our tournaments and games on the weekends.
We also value community service in our club and we demonstrate this through participate in multiple service events and helping our coaches when they coach the local youth teams as well.
Please reach out to our president if you are interested in joining the team and make sure to follow us on social media to keep up with our season!
